In this interactive exhibition, covering an area of around 250 m2, individuals and groups can learn all about the melting glaciers and climate-related changes in the high mountains. The interpretation panels and exhibits provide lots of information about the many aspects of this subject. Seven virtual reality stations offer a spectacular way of visualising possible future scenarios. By putting on virtual reality headsets, visitors can go on a journey through time from 1875 to 2100. They will see how the Morteratsch glacier is changing.
The Virtual Reality Glacier Experience is available in German or English.
The exhibition has been developed as part of the Graubündner Kantonalbank's 150th anniversary project #gkb2020.
|Due to the current Covid 19 regulations, the VR Glacier Experience is closed.|
